FAQs

  • 1. How do I request a proposal or an estimate?

We’d love to hear from you! Please reach out to us by phone or email with details about your project. It would be helpful to include any drawings, photos, or information that showcases the site and your overall goals. At Da Tranquil, we welcome projects of all sizes and types, but we especially enjoy working on those that call for unique, contemporary designs tailored to the site. Our services can be customized to fit the specific needs of your project and your vision.

  • 2. What services do you provide and what types of projects do you accommodate?

We provide a full suite of services that includes design, engineering, fabrication, construction, and installation for a variety of water features and fountains. Our projects range from small, custom-made water walls to expansive features with intricate components and advanced pump systems. For a detailed overview of our skills and offerings, please check out our expertise section.

  • 3. Do you have a representative or distributor in my area?

We operate from a design, fabrication, and testing facility in Delhi NCR, Nagpur, Mumbai & Goa. However, we regularly undertake projects both out of state and internationally. Please visit our locations page for a partial list of successfully completed projects in various locations.

  • 4. What type of design services do you offer?

We provide comprehensive design services for site-constructed fountains, covering everything from initial concept and schematic design development to engineering, mockups, and construction drawings. Our design services and scope of work are tailored to meet the specific needs of each project. For more information about our design services, please review our detailed list of offerings.

  • 5. Can you engineer and provide equipment for a site-constructed fountain?

Yes, after the initial design phase, we can engineer and build any fountain equipment packages. A typical skid-mounted pump system includes filtration, water treatment, a manifold, valves, and a control panel, all tested and adjusted before shipping.

  • 6. What materials do you work with?

Our work involves a diverse range of materials, including corrosion-resistant metals like stainless steel and copper, as well as various types of stone and glass. We utilize numerous finishes and textures to achieve specific water effects and create unique water patterns. Many of our textures are proprietary, developed over years of research and testing.

  • 7. What is the typical lead time?

Lead times for water features may vary based on design and size, but small to medium-sized installations are typically completed within 8 weeks of receiving the signed contract and deposit.

  • 8. What is the typical design and fabrication process?

Once we receive the initial contract agreement and deposit, we begin designing and engineering your water feature based on the parameters established with you, your architect, or any other creative professional involved. A few weeks after the project starts, we will submit our shop drawings and site preparation documents. Once these drawings are approved, we will commence fabrication, which usually takes six weeks or more, depending on the project's size. After the water feature is fabricated, assembled, and thoroughly tested, it will be ready for delivery or shipment. • 9. Is everything custom or can I order something similar to your previous work?

We specialize in designing and creating unique, one-of-a-kind water features. We recognize that each site has various factors to consider, such as surrounding finishes, architectural elements, and other design parameters. While we can incorporate details, materials, and finishes similar to those used in other projects showcased on our website, we treat each water feature as a customized project. This approach allows us to give the necessary attention and customization required to address the unique conditions and variables at each site.

  • 10. Can you build a water feature designed by my architect or interior designer?

We welcome collaboration with other creative professionals in the design process. If a proposed design is not feasible or functional, we may suggest modifications or alternate designs during the initial consultation. We believe that great design is achieved through collaboration and a shared understanding of the water feature and its interaction with the surrounding space and the viewer.
